Alexia Putellas Segura was born in Mollet del Vallès, Barcelona, on February 4, 1994. She is the daughter of Jaume Putellas Rota and Elisabet “Eli” Segura Sabate. She has one sibling – a sister, Alba Putellas.
Raised in Barcelona, Putellas was exposed to football from a very young, especially by her extended family. She used to watch Barcelona matches at a local bar or travel to Camp Nou with her family whenever possible.
