List of Sky Sports News presenters in 2024

Sky Sports News made major changes in its presenting team. The British paid television sports news channel announced several new presenters and released veterinary presenters.

For example, Geoff Shreeves left in 2023 after working for Sky Sports for 31 years. Also, Jeff Stelling left the network after being part of Sky Sports Soccer Saturday for 30 years.

Besides presenters, several Sky Sports commentators, pundits, and reporters left the network in recent years. However, Sky Sports replaced them with new faces.

Here’s an updated list of the current Sky Sports news presenters.

1. Anna Woolhouse

Anna Woolhouse is a British sports journalist, reporter, and presenter. She currently works for Sky Sports as a presenter and reporter.

The British journalist joined Sky Sports in 2012. She is the lead boxing presenter for Sky Sports News. Her work primarily involves presenting all boxing news and interviewing top athletes in the professional boxing sport.

Before joining Sky Sports, Anna started her career as a radio presenter. After joining Sky Sports, her initial work was to report on ice hockey.

She has also hosted many shows for Sky Sports, including the all-female single-seater racing championship W-Series, darts, basketball, and rugby league.

2. Caroline Barker

Caroline is a British sports journalist and broadcaster with extensive experience in television and radio. She presents for several broadcasters, including BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC World Service, Sky Sports, and Premier League Productions.

The broadcaster started her career in the media industry working for BBC Essex. She relocated to London in 2004 and became a sports reporter at BBC London 94.9.

Additionally, Barker has contributed her services to various BBC channels and radio stations, namely BBC Radio 2, BBC World Service, and BBC Radio 4.

In 2015, she assumed the presenter position at BBC Radio 5 Live, a role she still fulfills. She also hosts The Totally Football League Show on Sky Sports, covering many football events on the channel.

3. Clare Tomlinson

Clare Tomlinson is a British television presenter and journalist who is presently employed as a presenter by Sky Sports.

Before joining the media industry, Tomlinson worked in public relations. In the 1990s, she was a receptionist for Max Clifford & Associates.

After that, Claire became a media officer for the Football Association. Her involvement with the FA saw her appointed as the head of the communications department at Arsenal FC between 1996 and 1998.

The journalist officially joined Sky Sports in 1998 as a presenter. She has presented several programs on Sky Sports News, including the late show Through the Night. In 2007, she presented the Professional Footballers’ Association Awards Ceremony.

4. Dharmesh Sheth

Dharmesh Sheth is a British journalist and broadcaster. He is one of the Sky Sports News presenters who interviews players and managers, offering in-depth insights into the football world.

The broadcaster has a professional background in the media and entertainment industry. As a Sky Sports presenter and reporter, he provides coverage and analysis of various sports events, focusing on football.

He has become famous for hosting The Transfer Show on Sky Sports, presenting breaking news, transfer updates, and other developments in the English Premier League.

5. Ed Draper

Edward Draper, commonly known as Ed Draper, is a distinguished British journalist, esteemed radio broadcaster, and accomplished television presenter.

 In 2010, he embarked on his journey with Sky News (sport) as a presenter, subsequently ascending to the position of a full-time presenter for Sky Sports News in 2014.

The radio broadcaster started his career as a writer. He wrote for the Logan Daily News in Ohio, USA, in 2004 and later worked for WOUB TV as a presenter and reporter.

Before Sky Sports News, Draper presented on the Absolute Radio Breakfast Show and hosted the Rock ‘N’ Roll Sports Podcast.

Also, the journalist formerly presented sports news for BBC Radio London and provided sports commentary for MUTV and Eurosport.

Ed Draper has regularly written for sports features on the Sky Sports website. His writing primarily focuses on the MMA and boxing.

6. Emma Paton

She is a British television presenter, reporter, and journalist. She is primarily known as an anchor on Sky Sports News presenter.

Furthermore, Emma Paton is among Sky Sports Premier League female presenters. She joined Sky Sports in 2012. Initially, her work involved reporting live events on location, covering breaking stories, and interviewing sportsmen and women.

However, the reporter has recently gained recognition for her work on Good Morning Transfers and her general coverage of the Sky Sports News’ transfer window.

Emma has presented many other sports events, including WWE. The journalist is also part of Sky’s eSports talent roster. She reported on the inaugural ePremier League and the 2019 FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final.

7. Hayley McQueen

Hayley McQueen is an English TV sports presenter, reporter, award-winning producer, and event host. She is one of the leading female Sky Sports presenters, where she serves as the lead anchor on Sky Sports News.

Furthermore, McQueen is the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup presenter. She previously hosted Match Choice, a Sky Sports flagship Saturday evening Football First Premier League highlights show.

Despite working for Sky Sports, the English reporter presented for Premier League TV. She also hosted the BBC 5 Live football phone-in show and The Kickabout on Radio X.

At Sky Sports, she previously co-presented the Sky Sports Champions League and the weekly Sportswomen program.

8. Jo Wilson

Jo Wilson is a Scottish television presenter currently employed by Sky Sports News as a presenter. She joined the channel in 2011, where she started as a Graduate Trainee.

The Scottish presenter then moved higher the ranks and became a sub-editor. A few years later, the network promoted her to a co-producer.

In 2015, Jo Wilson debuted on Sky Sports News as a presenter. She has presented many events for Sky Sports, including those related to football and basketball.

9. Kaveh Solhekol

Kaveh Solhekol is an esteemed English sports journalist and television presenter affiliated with Sky Sports.

He holds the position of Chief Reporter for Sky Sports News, where he diligently reports on many sporting events, encompassing football, cricket, and tennis.

The journalist is a native of London, England. He has a notable professional background, having previously held a position as a sports writer and reporter at The Times.

Kaveh’s expertise and insights have been showcased on numerous Sky Sports News programs, where he has consistently delivered comprehensive analysis and commentary on various sports news and events.

10. Michael Bridge

Michael Bridge is a British TV presenter, reporter, and journalist. He is one of the new Sky Sports news presenters who has gained recognition for reporting on multiple sporting events, including football, boxing, and darts.

However, many people know him as one of the leading transfer reporters and presenters on Sky Sports News and the host of Football Player of the Year events.

The British journalist appeared in the Good Morning Transfer Show on Sky Sports. Also, he recently became the host of the Darts Show Podcast

The Sky Sports presenter’s other endeavors include interviewing players, managers, fans, journalists, press officers, and board members of various sports organizations.

He also worked with Tottenham Hotspur as the presenter of their kit launches and official club annuals.

11. Mike Wedderburn

Michael ‘Mike’ Anthony Wedderburn is an English sports presenter and journalist. He is primarily known as the presenter for Sky Sports News program Good Morning Sports Fans.

The English journalist has been a Good Morning Sports Fans presenter since 1998. Before taking on the role, Mike was a rugby union player and cricketer. He played rugby for Harlequins and Wasps and cricket for Hampshire’s 2nd XI.

Mike started his career with Channel 4 as a sports presenter. He then moved to the BBC and presented several sports programs, including Rugby Special, Sportsnight, and Grandstand.

Finally, the rugby player joined Sky Sports when Sky Sports News launched in 1998. His highlights at Sky Sports include presenting the daily World Cup Report during the 2007 Cricket World Cup.

12. Millie Clode

Camilla ‘Millie’ Clode is an English television presenter. She joined Sky Sports News in 2006 as a presenter.

The Sky Sports presenter worked for ITV on The Colour of Money in 2009. Her work involved providing statistical analysis on the show.

Before joining Sky Sports in 2006, Millie was a presenter and show host for Obsession FM, an Oxford Brookes Radio Station. Also, she presented the Great Big British Quiz TV show for Quiz TV.

In 2010, the English journalist presented The Poker Lounge on Channel 4. However, she has received praise for her outstanding Sky Sports News presenter work.

13. Nick Powell

Nick Powell is a British TV journalist, presenter, and editor. He started his career in the early 1980s when he worked for Pennine Radio as a broadcast journalist.

After that, Nick became a reporter, presenter, and producer for Yorkshire Television between 1986 and 1996. Nick Powell joined Sky News in December 1996 as a news producer.

He has since become a prominent figure in sports broadcasting, sharing sports news, updates, and insights. Also, Nick Powell works as an editor for Sky News Sports.

The British editor’s experience includes working as a Shotoku Camera Operator and Floor Manager for Sky News and Sky Sports News.

14. Pete Graves

Pete Graves is a British TV presenter, journalist, and reporter. He joined the media industry in his early 20s and became the head radio commentator on all Newcastle United matches at 23.

The reporter first commentated on a Newcastle United match in 2005. In 2007, Pete moved to Real Radio and worked as a sports presenter. He also continued his work as a presenter of all Newcastle United live matches.

After a successful career on radio, the journalist joined Sky Sports News as a reporter in 2009. He subsequently became a presenter of Sky News and Sky Sports News. Furthermore, Pete has anchored rugby union and association football matches on Sky Sports.

15. Rob Wotton

Rob Wotton is a British football presenter for Sky Sports News and Sky Sports. He has worked for Sky Sports since 1998, and one of his major contributions was covering England games for the Capital Gold.

Before joining Sky Sports in 1998, Rob was the sports editor for Capital Radio. He presented the Euro 96 and the 1998 World Cup in France.

The British football presenter is more experienced than other male presenters on Sky Sports. He has presented almost all shows the network has ever broadcasted.

Wotton is the presenter for Ref Watch on Sky Sports News. Furthermore, his experience with the channel lets him take viewers through the English Premier League talking points.

16. Simon Thomas

Simon Thomas is an English TV presenter and host. He started his career in the media industry in 1999, presenting the children’s program Blue Peter on the BBC.

The English TV presenter joined Sky Sports in 2005 as a presenter. He had spent many years in other networks, especially the BBC, where he presented CBBC Proms in the Park.

During the 2010/2011 Football Season, the TV host was the lead reporter of Sky Sports’ live Football League coverage. In 2016, he presented live Premier League coverage on Saturdays and during the holidays.

Simon is one of the male Sky Sports presenters promoted. In July 2023, Simon Thomas replaced Jeff Stelling as the new presenter for Soccer Saturday.

17. Vicky Gomersall

Vicky Gomersall is a British presenter, journalist, event host, and sports news reporter. She joined Sky Sports in 2005 as a sports presenter.

The sports news reporter attended Cheltenham Bournside School and Kingston University London, where she graduated with a degree in English and Drama. After that, Vicky joined the media industry as a reporter.

Despite her role as a presenter at Sky Sports, the event host has conducted numerous interviews with prominent figures in the realm of sports.

Her presence has been observed across various Sky Sports programs, such as Sky Sports News and Sky Sports F1.

  1. I don’t know her name but it concerns the woman on SSN who was presenting the 07.00 show on Monday & Tuesday( March 4th&5th )
    Please can you tell this loudmouth to stop shouting!! I can mute the sound and still hear her. She is so annoying. Tell to be quiet or get her off the TV.
